Precaution is always better than CURE. We all Know it, let’s follow it…!

Most of the nations are at a war with COVID-19. We as individuals need to take care of ourselves and our family, we all know about the precautions. Our precautions are essential because as of now, no vaccine has been formulated for the novel coronavirus. In light of this fact, prevention is the best cure available so far, not only for COVID-19 but for any kind of virus.

Precautions we all know to keep the virus at bay:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain at least three feet distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then dispose of the tissue safely. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • Use alcohol based sanitizers.

Pathology department AIIMS, Delhi makes it easy for us to understand the symptoms and take proper medications or consult a medical practitioner in case of need.

  1. Dry cough + sneeze = air pollution
  2. Cough + mucus + sneeze + runny nose =  common cold
  3. Cough + mucus + sneeze + runny nose + body ache + weakness + light fever = flu
  4. Dry cough + sneeze + body pain + weakness + high fever + difficulty breathing = Coronavirus
